Infinity: The Quest for Earth - Timelapse marker concepts
Timelapse #1

The first drawing was done in a sketchbook using a 0.25mm fineliner and markers. A 0.5mm fineliner was used for outlining.

The ship was quickly reworked/tweaked for the large drawing (as seen in the vid). The coolgrey 2 marker was used to draw the rough shape and lines. Coolgrey 11 was then used for the lines. Several passes of coolgrey 2, 4 and 8 and when needed coolgrey 11 were used for the shading. An orange marker was used for markings/paint. Extra detailing passes were done with fineliners and a black marker. Thinned white acrylic paint was used for highlighting since my white gelpens *always* dry out when I need them.
Due to the poor camera recording quality high res scans were made.

As with the first timelapse, a sketch was made during a train ride using the same materials.

The large drawing was made in the same way as timelapse #1. Unlike with the first recording no scans were made during the process. Only a final scan was made.

Sadly, the initial sketches for the final timelapse are currently missing. The same techniques and materials were used but instead of white acrylic paint a white gelpen was used for the highlights.
